Ask for a correction

If a family tree on MontagemRoots records something wrong about you - a misspelled name, a wrong date, the wrong parent, or that you have died - you can ask for it to be corrected (Article 16 GDPR). You do not need an account. A platform administrator, not the person who made the tree, decides, and you will hear back by e-mail.

This form does not search anyone’s tree, and we cannot tell you here whether you appear in one — family trees are private, and confirming that would expose them. A person reviews every request and replies to you.

Include a maiden or former surname if you have one.
For example a birth year, a town, or which relative keeps the tree.
For example: "My birth year is shown as 1958; it is 1953." If you can, say what the correct information is based on.
